A catch-all email mailbox receives messages sent to non-existent email addresses under the very same domain name. For instance, a message sent to the miswritten suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. In this way, you can receive email messages from partners or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling mistake or to an out-of-date one, which they may still have, but you have already deactivated. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at a certain point you may start receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation implies that the spam will not be re-sent to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Website Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all email mailbox with ease in case you’ve got a website hosting account with us. The Email Manager tool in our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel is feature-loaded, yet surprisingly simple to use, and it will enable you to activate various features, including the catch-all one, with just a couple of clicks. All the email addresses that you’ve got will be displayed alphabetically in this section and next to each one of them you will see a tiny "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking it once will activate the feature, clicking it twice will disable it. Since you can have only one such mailbox per domain, our system will inform you if you already have a different mailbox with this feature enabled or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

A catch-all address can be configured with several clicks of the mouse if you have a Linux semi-dedicated hosting package with our company. The semi-dedicated account will be administered through our custom-developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you’ll be able to create email addresses using any domain name hosted there. To activate the catch-all feature for a given mailbox, you will need to click on the logo with the same name, which will be on the right-hand side of each email address. Disabling this functionality can be achieved in the same fashion and will not require more than a click either. In case the catch-all option has already been activated for a particular domain, you will receive a warning message. The same is valid if the mailbox that you’d like to be a catch-all one has email forwarding enabled, as our system will never replace or deactivate any feature automatically.
